Meh.
Just saw The Da Vinci Code yesterday with Diana, I suppose it's a decent flick if you haven't read the book. I do admit that my expectations were pretty high, but dayum, that's one long movie (3 hours and 30 minutes). I don't know, it doesn't seem to capture the intensity of the book , despite the solid acting from all of the four main charecters (Robert, Sophie, Leigh and Silas). Silas in particular is played extremely well, and looks just exactly like I had envisioned him.

All in all, an ok movie. It's too long, but I suppose it's alot better if you haven't read the book - as I could see the scene with Leigh showing off "The Last Supper" to Sophie being very disturbing to someone who hasn't read the book or studied the picture. The movie lacks a bit of indepth analysis of some of his (Leonardo's) other works, IMO, but that'd make the movie even longer. Would have been better off as a 3 episode TV show in my opinion.

Now I'm looking forward to Angels and Demons (which would have had a much better book to picture). ;)
